Abstract

Those of us who are working on grassland problems fully realise that manuring is only one factor in production. Sir John Russell s&3 when he was in New Zealand that in considering the manurial scheme for any farm one'has first to decide what manure should be used, and then when it should be used. I disagree with this view. I first want to look at the farmer and then at his farm. In other words,a great deal of money can be wasted by inefficient management.
