Sustainability of high-country pastures under contrasting development inputs

Abstract

The paper précis the key published results from two 26- year grazing trials, involving an initial 25 species mix under 35 different S and P fertiliser rates, three sheep stocking rates and two stocking combinations. Species separation and transition from legume to grass dominance depended on fertiliser rate.
